Broiled Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon Steaks (or Lake Trout)
  • 1/3 Cup Olive Oil
  • 2 TBSP Lemon Juice
  • 4 TBSP Melted Butter
  • 2 TBSP Finely Chopped Shallots or Scallions
  • 1/2 TSP Dried Tarragon
  • Salt and Pepper

Optional

  • Parsley
  • Black Olives
  • Lemon Wedges

Instructions

Combine olive oil, lemon juice, shallots/scallions, tarragon, salt, and pepper.

Coat each side of steaks with mixture and broil 4 inches under heat for 7-8 minuets on each side.

Baste often with melted butter during the broiling process.

(If fillets are used instead of thicker steaks, broil for a shorter time)

Garnish with parsley, black olives, and lemon wedges.
